📍LOCATION: TreeHouse Studio & Lounge 119 S. Cayuga Street, 3rd floor (across from Lot 10)

Start Independence Weekend the right way - with music, dance, fun people, and happy vibes. Bring your dance energy, or sit back and relax.

SCHEDULE
8:45PM Doors Open
9:15PM Salsa Son Cubano Dance Lesson with Adolfo y Lisbet 🇨🇺️​
Learn Cuban and Latin dance basics, including footwork and body movement, and how to dance on the beats of tiempo, or "on 1," and contratiempo, or "on 2." Taught by master of Cuban dance Adolfo Castillo and Lisbet López, of Guantánamo, Cuba.

9:45PM-1AM Party​
Dance to the hottest releases of Salsa-Son-Timba, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha, Cumbia, Reggaeton y más with DJ Michael Luis.
∙ 9:45-11:15pm: Salsa, Bachata, and mostly partner dance.
∙ 11:15pm-1am+: Latin Mix. Dancers in command. Requests accepted.

Raffle drawing for gift card to Zocalo 🇲🇽️ Bar & Grill and other prizes.

Transportation & Parking
​∙ TCAT 90, 30 and other bus lines run all day and night, stopping across the street from TreeHouse at Green Street Commons. Last bus to College town and Cornell at 2:15AM. Bus schedules here.
∙ Parking is free downtown after 6PM. $1/hour at Green St Garage, free after midnight and on weekends, 24 hours, conveniently located. More garages nearby.

FREE drink between 9 and 10pm! Outside food welcome.

Admission 18+ Gov ID with Age & Photo Required (US driver license, NYS non-driver ID, or passport). Below 18 okay with a family member. $10 cash cover for lesson and party includes free drink. Or pay by Venmo to "Salsa-Ithaca," or "$SalsaIthaca" on CashApp. Sliding scale accepted, nobody turned away due to lack of funds.
